Prof Christopher LoweDirector of Institute of Biotechnology,, University of Cambridge, UK Christopher Lowe received both his B.Sc and Ph.D in biochemistry from the University of Birmingham. Before arriving at Cambridge, he held post-doctoral and lectureship positions in Liverpool, Sweden and the University of Southampton. He has worked intensely on biotechnology during the last 3 decades and has over 250 publications and 40 patents under his name. In 2006, he was named the ‘Most Entrepreneurial Scientist’ in the UK in a competition organized by the UK Association of Science Enterprise Centers.
